[Teacher Feature] Leg Day With Ms. O & Mr. Chavez

Ms. O and Mr. Chavez decided to create an exercise video, because “exercise helps to keep us healthy both physically and mentally, especially if we’re having a rough day and need to blow off some steam.”

The exercises of their typical leg day include:

Goblet Squats: targets the quads; complete 2 sets of 10 reps at a manageable weight, then 2 sets of 6 reps at a slightly higher weight.

Romanian DeadLifts: targets the glutes and hamstrings; complete 4 sets of 10 reps at a manageable weight.

Bulgarian Squats: targets the quads; complete 4 sets of 10 reps at a manageable weight.

Leg Curls: targets the hamstrings; complete 3-4 sets of 15 reps at a manageable weight.

Calf Raises: targets the calves; complete 3-4 sets of 15 reps on each leg. Usually superset this exercise with leg curls.

*”manageable” weight means you can use the weight to comfortably complete the full motion of the exercise with stable knees (no shaking or losing balance). If your knees start to shake or you start to lose balance, immediately stop the exercise and move to a lower weight or just use your body weight.*
